Homework for Friday 11th June 2010

You Can Do It: Answer Questions 23 to 27. Please either print off the questions from your computer or answer them on a piece of paper.
Literacy Sheets: Trig was playing football when....(there are 2 sheets). You will have to answer question 2 on a separate sheet of paper. You do not need to do questions 4b and 5.
Sherston Online: Numeracy Bank 6 - Activities 82 to 86
Spellings: availability, large, stunning, surrounded, remarkable, engulfed, enormous, descent, protected & collapsed. Everybody has the same spellings this week. It is though important that you know what the words mean, as well as how to spell them. You can earn 10 House Points if you send me a sentence, as a comment, for each of the words.

Hi Mr. James (and this time there’s no ‘‘everybody else’’, is just for Mr. James!), ONCE AGAIN here are the spellings for the HPs: :D
1.Availability: ’’John, hurry up if you want to have those entries for the circus, because if you don’t hurry up there will be no more availability’’ Lucy said to him.
2.Large: ’’Her T-Shirt is large so please bring me one that is large and not small’’ Mary’s mom said to the shop keeper.
3.Stunning: The work that Carla did was super and stunning.
4.Surrounded: Sita’s house is surrounded with wonderful flowers and plants.
5.Remarkable: His attitude was very bad and remarkable
6.Engulfed: My friend in Venezuela engulfed the pill and then he felt really good.
7.Enormous: ’’Wow!!, your house is enormous!’’, He said shocked.
8.Descent: I went with a parachute and land in this descent.
9.Protected: On the camp, there was a part with a lot of trees and the monitors told us that it was a protected area.
10.Collapsed: One day the subway almost collapsed because there were like 1548 people!!!!!!!.
