Homework for Friday 23rd April 2010


Topic: Design a title page for "The Aztecs".
Science: Design a title page for "Reversible and Irreversible Changes"
Science: Sherston Online Junior Science 3, Activities 6 to 10.
Literacy: Read pages 6 & 7 of "On Dangerous Ground" and then answer the questions.
Maths: Past Paper Questions (2007A1). Do NOT use a calculator.
Spellings:
Australia Group: innocently, violently, thoughtfully, unexpectedly, obediently, courageously, mysteriously, seriously, boastfully & powerfully.
Brazil Group: lazily, softly, noisily, monthly, madly, foolishly, politely, seriously, quickly & silently.
Canada Group: kindly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, likely, really, nearly, badly, & madly
To earn 10 House Points, write a sentence for each of your spellings and send them to me as a comment.

Hi, Mr James, here are the fraces of the espelings:

1. The spider moved slowly towards its pray.
2. The woman pated softly the dogs head.
3.The man played the drums noisily and crazily.
4.The cansel held monthly meeting.
5.Whiles I had the ball in my hand Coockie, my dog, barked madly.
6."he has been made to look foolish!" Bharat exclaimed.
7. Carla asked Mr James, very politely if she could go to the bathroom, (8.) but, Mr James looked at Carla seriously.
9.When I got to my house I went quickly to messenger.
10. Lucia silently went to the computer room without Mr James hearing her.

Hello Mr. James (and everybody else) hehehe:

This is from the Brazil Group: (and for the HPs)

Lazily: They woke up really LAZILY because they were sleepy.

Softly: SOFTLY she stroked the dog, but he didn’t like it.

Noisily: NOISILY they entered in the cinema and everybody told them that they had to be quiet!

Monthly: MONTHLY we do 8 tests, 4 for spellings and other 4 for the math test.

Madly: He closed the door very MADLY.

Foolishly: FOOLISHLY the audience laughed, making the actor feel bad.

Politely: This are some synonyms of POLITELY: polished, poised, courtly, cultivated.

Seriously: Be quiet kids!! The teacher said SERIOUSLY.

Quickly: He ran very QUICKLY so he won the contest.

Silently: SILENTLY they entered to the supermarket.

P.s: I didn’t come today (Wednesday) because, well, :( I feel REALLY sick…:(.

P.s2: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLA!!, I’ll come to your party don’t worry, the only thing is that I can’t eat sweets or cake and either drink cola, but well I’m sure I’ll enjoy the film ;). I’ll give you something that all the times you see it you’ll remember me.
