It has been proposed that The Trinity School and The Yeoward School should join to make a new school from September 2010. What do you think about this? If you send me your views as a comment, you can have 2 house points.

Mr James this is my point of view:
I dont think Yeoward and Trinity would joing for 2 reasons:
1) im imagining names like triward or triyeo.... sincerily i dont like them.
2) if for eg, they take my best friend 2 another class then well we could only meet in playgrounds and stuff and well thats a bit un fair.

However, i also think is good in 1 reason (as you can see im more against)
1) I have 2 friends from karate that are in Tritity school. 1 is Teresa the other Alejandra. We talk alot in karate and we sometimes get in trouble that we talk so much. If we were in the same school that wouldnt happen and we would we together (only that next year they are in yr 8 so its obvious that we wouldnt be in the same class but well)

Ps: resuming im against. taday Teresa told me Trinity desinged the *new* uniform and we choose it.
why dont we desing it and they choose it? cause i have a very good idea in mind...

I think that it is a very good idea 'coz all the school will improve and there'll be more space for every one.
I hope that the magiority will vote for this enormous change in our lives. (and i hope i'll get 2 house points...)

I think is a great idea because,

1)is less money.

2)we coud have more friends.

3)that next year we will not be the small ones.

4)we will be in the same class as my friends from trinity.

5)as there will be more children, there is a bigger opportunity to form activities.

My 4 Points of View ;) ;
(I'm against & for.)
Negative:
Point 1) It would be a bit unfair to Wingate, which is left all alone...
Point 2) It would be unfair to us, because we might be separated from our Friends when the classes are sorted.
Postive:
Point 3) We would know new people and make new friends.
Point 4) We would have more subjects and variety in classes.
Here are two questions I wanted to ask;
What Uniform is there going to be?
How is the school going to be called? (Triward or Yeonity aren't really the best of names >.<)

I think joining Yeoward and Trinity has been the best idea so far.

I have millions of reasons of why we SHOULD do it but I’m just going to say some:

The economy is a serious advantage in this situation because there would be more people; furthermore yr 9, who only have 9 students, at the moment, would then have a much bigger amount of people.

A problem Yeoward has is the lack of space. If the schools would join, this would no longer be a problem because the organization is good: From yr toddlers to yr 4 they go to la Luz, from yr 5 to yr 9 (I think) in Trinity and from yr 10 to year 13 in Taoro.

In Trinity there are more foreigner people that in Yeoward.

So, if we join, we would, as a school, have more variety of people and children could share their cultures. 4 e.g.: if an Indian person from Yeoward makes friends with another Indian in Trinity, they could be free to speak their languages and talk about their religions.

p.s:carla, as i say, the name may be something completely different so dont imagine things you do not know.

Hi Mr. James,
I have good and bad opinions because... Really I
don´t care if the schools join or don´t.Well here are my opinions:

1)The first one is for.I think the school should join because it would coast less money, and that´s a good thing for the parents!

2)Also for.We would meat new people and make new friends, and that´s important.

3)This one is also for! When someone comes to the island and they want to come to the north, and they also want their child to go to an English school they don´t need to choose between Trinity or Yeoward they just go to that school (that we don´t know how it is called). And that will surely make more money.

4)This one is now against! It is a simple thing, I WANT SPORTS DAY!!! (Eventhough I´m not ganna participate)

5)Also against.I don´t want an ugly uniform nor name of school!

Well this is all, I think I´m a bit to much on the side of joining the schools!!!

Hi Mr. James,
Somehow I like the idea of a new school! We would have more friends and be together with the ones, we already know from Trinity! We could improve the school facilities and think of more activities during the day.
We would also win at the sports day easily! On the other hand I wouldn´t like to be seperated from my friends right now. I really like the IBYS, because when I started in Year 4, everyone made it so easy for me to settle into the school. It´s hard to imagine that we all like the new school as much as we like the IBYS, but I hope we will!

Mr. James, this is my OPINION:

I sincerely Don't like the idea because:
1) There will NOT be enough space for everyone, I think.
2) Is VERY far from my house, but on the other hand it would be NEAR to other houses.
3)How would the uniform be? I Don't think we can combined it.

However, I think is Not a bad idea because:
1) It would be cheaper.
2) WE would have More opportunities of having activities...

With a LOT of CARE,

Diana ;) =) xD xP

P.S: I Would say that I'm More against that for xD...

I think it's better because it's less money and we can join our ability, and it's better to have more children, you can have more friends.

I do think Yeoward and Trinity should joining

.It's a good school and you don't have to pay a lot of money.
.people is leaving the school because they have to pay a lot of money

I dont think Yeoward and Trinity should joining

.Teachers have to work more but they get less money.
.We have to change everything schools name uniform.

I think both Schools should design the Uniform because I heard people (...) saying they have Ideas and it would be nice to see them. I also have an Idea...:)
Well, I think the School was going to be called International British Tenerife School
If not, it would anyway be better than those weird combine-names like Yeonity or Trinward...

Julia. :)
