I'm not giving you much homework this week because you have exams and I don't want your brains to get too tired!! You do though need to complete the sheet called "Lions" by Wednesday 26th May. Also, you need to try the activities on this webpage about irreversible and reversible changes before Thursday:

Volcano Art

This is Chimayo's Volcano Art. Tomorrow, Mrs Horne is going to judge who she thinks should win and have their work displayed at the volcano conference in Taoro Park. This conference is taking place at the Conference Centre from May 31st to June 4th 2010. Good Luck!!

Bring in a shoe box for an Art Activity. For every box that you bring in, you will win a house point.
Literacy 1: Read "You Can Do It" and answer the questions.
Literacy 2: Sherston On-Line Literacy Bank 6: Activities 112, 114, 115, 116 & 117.
Numeracy 2: Past Paper Questions (2004B). You CAN use a calculator. If you don't have an angle measurer at home, you can do question 18 during lunchtime on Thursday in class.
Spellings:
Australia & Brazil: angrier, angriest, busier, busiest, rougher, roughest, wealthier, wealthiest, healthier & unhealthiest.
Canada: taller, tallest, longer, longest, higher, highest, smaller, smallest, bigger & biggest.

Literacy: Read pages 4 to 8 of "You Can Do It" and answer the questions.
Maths: Past Paper Questions - you CAN use a calculator.
Science: Past Paper Questions.
Topic: Answer the following questions about Aztec Food and Drink. You can either type it up on the computer or handwrite it on a piece of paper - there is paper in the classroom if you need it. You will need to write the questions and the answers.
Q1 - What food did the Aztecs eat?
Q2 - Where did they "buy" their food?
Q3 - Who was allowed to drink chocolate?
Q4 - What was the punishment for being drunk for an Aztec?
You will need to add images to your work before you hand it in.
