Homework For Friday 23rd October 2009

Spellings:
Australia Group: telephone, television, telapathy, telegraph, telescope, transport, translate, transparent, transfer and transplant .
Brazil Group: vision, television, graph, telegraph, scope, telescope, telephone, transport, transfer and transmit.
Canada Group: under, undo, unkind, uncap, even, uneven, hurt, unhurt, screw, unscrew .
Science: Sheet, plus revise for test on Friday about microorganism.
Literacy: Sheet.
Numeracy: Sheet and rehearse 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 times table, especially for division.

Homework for Friday 16th 2009

Literacy: Enter a poem into the "Old Possum's Poetry Competition". It can be one of the poems that we wrote in class last week or something new. It's up to you!
Numeracy: Play "Mathionaire" and send me a comment to let me know how you got on.
Science: Answer these questions and send me the answers as a comment; a) what are the 3 different types of microorganisms? b) Why is important to cook food properly? c) Name 3 ways that you can avoid spreading harmful microorganisms. d) How is yoghurt made?
